The IMOU 2S video doorbell kit combines state-of-the-art features for comprehensive security and convenience. The 3-megapixel camera delivers crystal-clear 2K images with H.265 compression to conserve storage and network resources. Thanks to PIR and AI-based human detection, only relevant movements are recorded – false alarms from animals or trees are reduced. The device can track objects (Smart Tracking) and also detects people who have been lingering for a preset time (Loitering Detection).

Auto Power Saving Mode

The integrated 5000 mAh battery provides up to 120 days of runtime in power-saving mode. A full charge takes approximately 2.5 hours via USB-C (5V/2A). A wired power supply can also be used as an option.

The system operates wirelessly via 2.4 GHz WiFi and allows for a completely cable-free installation. The accompanying Chime unit acts as a WiFi extender, ensuring a stable connection throughout the house. When the doorbell rings or an event occurs, selectable ringtones (10 variations) sound, and the indoor unit announces visitors in each room.

Thanks to the 30° rotating pan lens and the ultra-wide-angle lens (166° diagonal), the entrance area is optimally covered. The night vision function illuminates up to 5 meters, even in complete darkness. Two-way communication with variable voice allows for conversations, or you can send predefined quick replies if you don't want to answer.

The included Rex VT 5MP WiFi video intercom functions as a two-way audio system with 3K image quality and can pan horizontally up to 355° and vertically up to 90° – providing almost 360° coverage. With IMOU SENSE® AI, it reliably recognizes people and pets and reacts in real time. The screen displays the date, time, weather, network status, and privacy mode – ideal for smarter home monitoring.

All functions can be controlled via the IMOU Life app : adding devices, alarm settings, PIR sensitivity, sleep times, notification channels, and much more. If you change networks or reset, you can easily reconnect devices.
